Investigating and Prosecuting Workplace Safety Homicides
This 1 ½ day training will focus on the investigation and prosecution of workplace safety violations that cause the death of an employee. It is designed for prosecutors who are assigned or who may be asked to handle workplace homicide cases, DA investigators assigned to these cases, and Cal/OSHA criminal investigators and enforcement attorneys. Paralegals are welcome to attend, subject to availability.

The seminar will be held at the CDAA Training Center located at 921 11th Street, Third Floor, Sacramento, CA.

The CDAA Training Center is located at 921 11th Street, Suite 300 in downtown Sacramento. Parking

A city-owned parking structure is located across from CDAA with entrances on 10th and 11th Streets, between I and J Streets. The daily maximum charge is $25 (rates subject to change).

Tuition

Tuition is free for this seminar.

Reimbursement

There are limited number of reimbursements available. If approved, your reimbursement will cover meals (state per diem), hotel and travel-related expenses (air travel reimbursement requires that you live a distance greater than 4 hours of driving).
