Courtroom Testimony Workshop for Environmental Enforcement
This one-day TUITION FREE class is designed for prosecutors, investigators, environmental personnel who have never testified in a criminal or civil proceeding. In our trainings, we have discovered that less than 10% of the attendees have actually testified in a court proceeding. This class will prepare the attendee to testify beginning with preparation, review, and discussion of a report with the prosecutor, protocols associated with courtroom testimony (dos and don’ts of courtroom demeanor), as well as an exercise in direct and cross-examination of volunteers based upon a set of facts from which a report is written and used in actual courtroom testimony. Attendance will be limited to 30 people. The second class in Sacramento will be held on May 11, 2020.
