Trial Advocacy Skills Workshop
This workshop offers 3½ days of comprehensive trial advocacy training. It includes presentations, small group and class exercises, and instructor-led demonstrations. Instruction is focused on the experience levels and needs of the participants. Performing daily and repeatedly, participants will be videotaped and given constructive critiques by experienced instructors. This course is limited to 35 newer Deputy District Attorneys and Deputy City Attorneys with 0-20 jury trials (total). (Interested parties who are not Deputy District Attorneys or Deputy City Attorneys may not register without prior approval. Email Suzanne Hunter at shunter@cdaa.org to request to register. All exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.) PLEASE NOTE: There is required reading for this seminar. Registrants will be emailed a link to the materials prior to the training.

Parking and Shuttle
CDAA has secured a reduced parking rate at the Doubletree: Self-parking is $10; valet parking is $20.

. Parking at Chapman University is approximately $5/day.
There are several shuttle services that offer transportation from/to the John Wayne/Orange County Airport (SNA) for approximately $15 each way. You need not make a reservation for shuttle service from the airport to the Doubletree Hotel.
NOTE: Daily transportation to and from Chapman University will not be provided by CDAA.
Tuition
Registrations received by February 12, 2019 will qualify for the early registration rate of $280.
Registrations received after February 12, 2019 will be at the regular registration rate of $320.
All registrants should note that cancellations must be received in writing by February 12, 2019 to avoid the $49 cancellation fee.
