Jury Selection, Examination & Impeachment

Jury Selection, Examination & Impeachment
This 2 1/2 day seminar addresses jury selection, cross examination, expert witness examination, and impeachment. A live jury is present each day allowing participants to observe all jury behavior and jury deliberation. The program is designed for one- to five-year deputy district attorneys. The mock case presented is a domestic violence/sexual assault; however, the class covers a broad overview of the topics. This seminar is funded by a grant from the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.
