National Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Symposium
This 3 1/2-day seminar is designed for prosecutors, investigators, law enforcement, adult protective services administrators and case workers, state and local agency personnel, medical professionals, coroners and medical examiners, and victim advocates. The symposium will provide information on how to identify, investigate, and prosecute cases involving elder and dependant adult abuse. While serving as an introduction to those new in the field, this symposium will also address the latest issues and techniques in elder abuse prosecution.

The Hyatt Regency Orange County is located at 11999 Harbor Boulevard in Garden Grove (within walking distance to the Anaheim Resort area). To receive the special CDAA room rate of $125 single/double occupancy (plus hotel tax), call the hotel at (714) 750-1234 and mention CDAA. Although the cut-off date for hotel reservations is November 9, 2015, make your reservation as soon as possible as rooms may sell out before the deadline. Please note that the hotel has a 48-hour cancellation policy. 

Seminar Start/End Times

The program is scheduled to start with registration at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, and end at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2016.

Parking/Shuttle Information

SuperShuttle (800) 258-3826; A Prompt Shuttle/Prompt Shuttle (714) 715-9615. The SuperShuttle round trip fare between the John Wayne/Orange County Airport (SNA) and the hotel is approximately $20 each way.The Hyatt Regency Orange County offers self and valet parking options.  Self-parking is contracted at $10.00 per car/per day and you will need to stamp validate at the machine near our seminar.  Otherwise it is$16 per day.  Please inquire at the front desk regarding the in-and-out privileges costs/information.  The self-parking lot is secure and monitored 24 hours/day by hotel security and surveillance cameras.  Valet parking is $22 per day.


Tuition received (or postmarked) by November 17, 2015, will qualify for the early registration rate of $375. All tuition received after this date will be at the regular registration rate of $425. Cancellations must be received in writing by November 17, 2015, to avoid the $40 administrative cancellation fee.
