This course offers annual legal updates and advanced topics of interest to investigators and prosecutors who are active in the asset forfeiture field. This training provides compliance with Health & Safety Code Section 11469 et seq. This training was made possible by funds received under Health & Safety Code Section 11489(D)

This course is certified for 7.0 MCLE hours, including 2.0 hour of Ethics (Pending final agenda) and is POST-certified (Plan N/A). Please call CDAA for information (Plan N/A).  

Location

The Marriott Monterey is located at 350 Calle Principal in Monterey (93940).  Please call the hotel at 1-877-901-6632 and mention the California District Attorney Assn Annual Asset Forfeiture Course in order to receive the discounted group rate of $125 per night. Although the cut-off date for hotel reservations is April 9, 2018, make your reservation as soon as possible as rooms may sell out before the deadline.

Parking Information

The Marriott Monterey has valet parking for $25 per day for overnight guests. Public parking is available nearby at a current rate of $7.00.

Tuition

Tuition is $125 for (SUBSIDIZED) registrants from state and local agencies participating in CDAA's Asset Forfeiture Training Program under Health & Safety Code Section 11489 (D).  The NON-SUBSIDIZED tuition rate for other members of the law enforcement community including all federal and out-of-state participants, is $225. NOTE: In order for you to receive an accurate tuition rate, your county/jurisdiction must be included in your cdaa.org profile. We recommend that you check your profile prior to registering for this training.

Cancellation

Must be received in writing by April 30, 2018, to avoid the $49 administrative cancellation fee.

Scholarships are not available for this course.
